Make sure you have it set for "normal" in the REC mode, and not
burst or multi-burst. They are too fast for the flash to have time to recharge. Good Luck Ed

My flash does not work......

Hi there,
first of all you could search the menu of your camera for a flash menu and check if flash was enabled. you can try to change the picture taking mode, maybe you choose a mode where flash is not automatically enabled. well this might sound obvious, but have you checked the battery-state? maybe power is to low to use flash. If nothing of the above mentioned things worked, try to reset our camer to its factory settings. but please make sure your pictures are save and you have them backed up.
greets, b

My Samsung S630 Digital Camera doesn't flash after a series of picture taking. Now it fails to flash although I set in Manual mode and selected Flash manuall, but still t doesn't flash. What should I do?...

Hi there remove the memory card and reset the camera. Now turn on the camera with out the memory card and make the camera flash light ON mode and take a snap. If the flash not working after this setting, then you need to replace the flash tube. The flash tube is cut off and thats why its not working.

Flash won't open on Canon Rebel XSi? It has been working fine but yesterday I went to take a picture and the flash wouldn't open. It won't open on any setting and it won't open if I push the manual flash...

The openning flash button only works on non automatic shooting modes.
On creative zone (automatic options with predefined options) the flash will rise automatically, based on the current exposure conditions. On "Flash Off" mode won't rise the flash ever.
Let me know, please if it solve the problem

Flash button won't select mode.

you cannot set anything on auto mode! The camera sets itself automatically. try taking shot(AutoMode)in dimlit area or no light at all. If it's taking shots and flash isn't firing, your flash bulb is already busted! I suggest you buy a separate flash unit (they cost the same as replacing parts and service fee), a cheap one is comparable or works the same as the costly one, if you know how to set up on manual mode ( they call it compose or advance or creative mode!)
