Question about Dayton E50 Heater

1 Answer

Cannot find the correct Dayton & Master Igniters

I am at Camp Eggers in Afghanistan. We have two types of torpedo heaters: Dayton 110,000BTU Oil Fired Heater (model# 3E218E) and the Master 115,000BTU Heaters. Both of these heaters use diesel as a fuel. They coincidentally both need ignitors. I cannot find them on-line anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith

Dayton "torpedo" heater turns itself off immediately after iniital ignition. How do i trouble shoot it?

All the torpedo type heaters are very similar. The website I recommend supplies parts for all brands. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4124129-yearly_maintenance_reddy_heaters which explains the problem, how to fix it and where to get the parts. Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.
