Where is the heat exchanger on my dryer and how do i clean it?

Tear it apart or use a chimney/duct brush.
I lean more toward the exhaust getting restricted than the heat exchanger.

Empty the bottle and then unplugg the dryer. Plugg the dryer back in and see if the empty light goes off.

Hi most likely seals on heat exchanger (condenser unit).
Lock heat exchanger in place.the should no movement at all.if movement you will require a rear seal for heat exchanger.Where heat exchanger seals in condenser box clean with scourer. check bottom of door seal for debris.

heat exchange is only on a condensor dryers usually on the font at the bottom of dryer unclip it pull out wash under the tap.

the thermostats at the element have to be replaced, they burn out prematurely if the condensor unit is not cleaned on a regular basis.
