HK-760 Bluetooth dongle, pairs with my HP computer but after inserting the passkey, the computer starts searching for the peripheral device drivers without which a connection between my jabra VBT2050...

This device, according to the Jabra website, is intended only for phones, not PC's. The PC is searching for a driver in order to know how to communicate with the device. Since the VBT2050 does not have the necessary software contained within itself, the PC starts searching for device drivers. There are none that I could find on the Jabra website, so I don't think it is intended to be used with a PC.

Driver for bluetooth for win 98

1 Was it working before?
2. Is the bluetooth compatible with Win98? Does it meet the bluetooth's minimum requirements?
3. Is your computer an old computer? Maybe your computer's USB ports are USB 1.0 and the 4Gb USB is USB2.0. This I believe will be incompatibile.
4. Try those USB adapters at a different computer to further isolate your problem.

Hope these info helps!

Computer locks up

Hi there. what operating system are you running? You may try using the driver from IOGEAR website. Go to In search field, please type in the model number of the unit and hit go. Double click the unit and you'll see on the left side "Drivers/Manual" Locate the model number and save the driver to Desktop. Once done, extract the file and use this driver instead. You may also, check IOGEAR's Tech Info Library by clicking solutions and selecting TIL - tech info library. Once there, type in the search field, type "Bluetooth" and look for Installation Guide. this will give you the step by step guide in installing the driver for the said device.

Hope this helps.
