when i connect the phone line to the uniden phone, both the uniden main set and the uniden cordless phone start ringing without any actual incoming call. the cordless handset shows the message INCOMING CALL.the ringing stops only when i press the STOP button on the main set and the END button on the handset.but the message,INCOMING CALL keeps on flashing on the screes of the cordless handset. but after that, both of them dont ring even there is an incoming call

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

Don't be a scab. The Base is %)&%. Lash out. Spend $70.00 AU & update. Remember: A microwave operates at 2.4Mhz. A handset at your ear at twice that? Very little Watts, but still?
