My tv sumsung hcn4226w 42 inch rear projection will not turn on

The red light keeps flashing, there is no picture no sound help plz

Either the lamp is burned out or the ballast and power supply board need to be replaced. can call 1-800-samsung for nearest service center.

hello have you checked the glass fuse inside the tv it will be in the power supply beware if replace the and blows again the you have a dead short circuit

Dont turn on


sometimes a small signal diode in power supply side is shorted. or IC component damaged.

Toshiba dlp 46 inch red light keeps blinking

NO PICTURE


sounds like the vertical output is causing the CRTs to shutdown for protection. Try resoldering the vertical output IC that will often correct the problem. If not the vertical output IC may be defective.

as far as it turning off on its own I would get a fan on it and see if that make a difference make sure that the fan is able to flow around the tv especially through the back of it, if this stops it from turning off then it is an overheating problem
