Yes itdoes, but you have a 4250n not 4250dn..... (n) mins network, and (dn) duplex+network...... but you can put it an after by menus setings put on......

What is the default ip address of the printer hp laserjet 4250n?


There is no default IP address on HP printers with Jetdirect print server card.
You set the IP address in the printer's network settings. The IP address need to be set to match your network's address range.

Print out the current configuration of the printer, Press the Tick button, navigate to Information, press the tick button, navigate to Print Configuration, press tick button.

On the printout find the current IP address. Open a web browser and type the IP address into the address bar, press enter.

The printer setup will be loaded into the web brower. Navigate to the network configuration so you can see the IP, gateway and subnet IP addresses.

You can now change these but once you have your browser dispay of the printer will disappear.

Type the new IP address into the web browsers address bar and you should get the new configuration displayed.

Replace the fuser unit (they last about 75K pages in my experience)

1. Power down the printer and unplug it
2. Remove the fuser from the back side of the printer
3. Replace the fuser unit with a new one
4. Turn the printer back on

I have a laserjet 4250n and at the top about 2 inches wide is about 75% black going horizontally from the left side to right side and you can see the letters under the black. and it does not do it very...


The toner cartridge can sometimes lose ground with the contact points within the printer. Try firmly reseating the toner cartridge in the printer. If this has happened with other cartridges then you may have a bent contact pin inside the printer.

try this
1.when the printer start print turn off the printer after the paper go on side the printer to make paper jam
2.open the printer and pickup the paper out slowly
3.see the print area on the paper if the black par appears on the paper that mean the drum unit faulty if not the fusser unit faulty
