Question about Washing Machines
You must have bought a Whirlpool Cabrio. "F51" is an indication of an RPS Sensor on the Motor Stator, or a Main Control Board failure, or interconnecting wiring problem between the two. If you just purchased the washer, and it has a warranty, I would strongly recommend you either exercise your manufacturer's limited one-year warranty and get it repaired for FREE. Or, contact the retailer you purchased it from. Many offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If not satisfied, they should either make an exchange, or offer to repair it. In any case, you should not have to pay for any repairs.
I would not recommend attempting to make any repairs yourself if this is a new purchase as you will void your warranty.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.
