Question about U-Line 75R Refrigerator

2 Answers

U-line 75R was not cold. Shorting the two wires at the thermostat, the motor runs and starts to get cold. Replaced the thermostat, but it didn't run at all. Please help. Thanks

How do you advance the defrost timer? I unpluged it and waited and then tried again, but it's still not working.
    Any other advise? Thanks

This U-Line does not have defrost timer, check the wire connection on the thermostat or you may have a bad new thermostat.

There is a slight possibility that the unit's defrost timer just happen to be in defrost when you replaced the temperature control. Try advancing the defrost timer (or just let it sit for about 1/2 an hour and see if it comes back on). If you have more questions, let me know. Hope this helps!

If the compressor gets hot and cold on its suction and discharge lines, then try looking for a pressure switch on the wiring diagram or on the fan motor wires, and bypass it. This will test the motor once it has power to it.
If there is a pressure switch and the compressor does not get hot and cold on the suction and discharge lines, then it is probably out of refrigerant, it leaked out.

Changed the thermostat, still no heat. Is there a valve of some sort in the heater hose lines or on the heater assembly that controls the hot water?

when the vehicle is cold take the radiator cap off and start the vehicle let it run with it on defrost at full blast until the vehicle gets to running temp,if there is still air in the system it will blow cold air if that doesn't work then check to see if the vacuum lines that run the blend door in the heater box have came off (depending on year)

Small refrigerator stopped working 75r

You have 2 wires. Unplug and put wires together. Plug unit back in and check to see if everything is running. Doesnt matter where the wires go with a 2 wire thermostat

My u-line 75rfb-00 refrigerator wont get cold the light comes on the motor sounds as if its working but it only gets cool not cold ?

Then you need to see if the compressor is running or is it the fan? You migh be hearing the compressor come on for a short while. The fan might not be running. Replace the fan if its not running

Refrigerator compressor motor will not run.

Does the fan work? If yes then the compressor has a relay and overload that might be bad. Or it could be a compressor that is bad. If its a compressor then you will need to have a tech verify that it is the problem. If nothing is running then it could be a thermostat thats not switching it on. Let me know if you need any more help with it.
