I have a NEC Valuestar vs7004da japanese machine. I was able to load xp sp2 with minimal problems but when I go to load the japanese zenrin NEC drivers disk it gets to 1% and says it is missing a .zsc file on the c drive. Also all the install windows have odd characters where there should be writing. I loaded japanese language support and it still does this. Help

sir try copying all the files in the installation disk to your hard drive then run the installation in where you copy your file... probably just a read disk error... if you have successfully copied all the files means disk is still working... if you get an error chances are the installation disk is damaged or your disk drive have a problem.

forget the installation disk if that wont help you... just download the latest driver of your card on the manufacturer's website... most of the time i encountered errors in installation disk from manufacturers.. but luckily then usually provide drivers in their site..
