Question about Canon CanoScan 8400F Film Scanner
If the printer works ok ...go to the add new software ..and let it search to see if it finds the scanner as a separate device ...and let it install the driver from the disk ...do the same for the printer ...I suspect that you install the software for it without them drivers and the software to not find the devices..
so ...plug it ...and go to the add new software ...choose already added ..and see what are the results ...
also go to the device manager by right click on my computer ..properties ..hardware ..device manager ...if you can not locate the printer and the scanner in a normal state there are not seen ...if they are with a yellow mark ..they are seen ..but not installed proper..just update driver by right click....
there is a posibility that you upgraded teh software ..and the drivers are not compatible from the disk anymore....you should look fot the right drivers on the net or let me know if this is the case and I will try it for you ...
