I had the same problem. My guess is something in the printer broke in some fashion, and this is a common weak point of the printer itself. I ended up buying a replacement printer. I must say that I LOVE the prints that this printer makes, and it's so easy to use that my wife and 14 year old son can use it with no problems. The prints are FANTASTIC, and look just like a film photograph print !!! It is that good! And... the cost is about the same for film prints (with none of the cost of the film or developing), with all the convenience of doing it at home, on demand. WOW !

the issue that you have might need to change some settings from the printing properties. WHen you hit on PRINT, a box will open, right? look on the top right of that box, you will see "PROPERTIES" or "Preferences" just click on it, then another box will open. Click on Printing Shortcuts tab, try to review the settings. And if you want to print using the main tray, it should set it to Automatic select or Main tray. And make sure that it sets to General Printing. But if youre going to print a photo, you will have options there to choose what type of paper when you click on that, the settings on the paper size, paper source, etc. will change also. For paper source, make sure that it sets to Photo Tray.
If you will be able to open printing preferences, all options are there, you just need to read and choose which settings you want to use.
Thank you so much.

Based on your question, my first thought is that you changed the type of photo paper you used starting "this week" (when you first posted your question). If you did, the photo paper size/thickness may not be compatible with your printer.
Otherwise, there may be a problem with the paper sensor. Click on the following link and review the troubleshooting steps, particularly Step 2, to see if that helps:

Post back your results. If you are still having the problem, post any additional information you think might help solve the problem. Thanks and good luck.

85% of paper jams are caused by worn rollers . The rubber treads in the rollers wears down, making them smooth, so they won't pick up the paper. Sometimes, they are aged, which also gives them a smoother rounded texture, causing jams. The quick fix is to liven up that roller with a mixture of alcohol and soap. Damp a rag with the solution and wipe the rollers clean with it. That's make them more pliable and the paper jams will cease. If you plan to keep your printer,
Replace the pick-up and feed rollers.
