I noticed that when i play 320 resolution videos from my hard drive, they play perfect even in full screen. But when i play videos of 630 or 720 resolution, the video doesnt play right, it messes with my screen, colors and jumpy graphics, cant watch it.
Do you think i can upgrade my video card? what do you recomend?
    Thanks.

The problem is that the video-player on your computer is "starving" for audio/video, because your download-speed is not fast-enough to "feed" the stream.

So, when a video starts to play, click PAUSE, and wait for the download to proceed for a while; then, click PLAY, to view the already-downloaded stream.

Can I increase the ram in my think pad?

Hello
Memory Upgrade for IBM ThinkPad R32 2658-xxx Laptop, the IBM ThinkPad R32 2658-xxx Laptop takes the PC2100 DDR SDRAM SODIMMs Memory Type, and comes installed with 128 or 256 MB (removable) of Memory. You can upgrade your IBM ThinkPad R32 2658-xxx Laptop to up to a maximum of 1.0 GB Memory, the system has 2 sockets to install Memory, already with 128 or 256 MB (removable) standard Memory installed. For best Laptop performance use the maximum amount of allowed Memory per slot for your Laptop.
good luck and do rate the solution if helps.

RAM chip sets

It is OK to mix chip (SODIMM) capacities in the 2 slots in your notebook.

The best system performance will be when you have 2 x 512MB but for now if you install 1 x 512MB, you could even leave the old chip in the other slot, it'll be fine.

i suggest u use one 512 MB if your motherboard supports....
RAM technology has advanced so mush that you wont get RAMs for old PCs (motherboards)....so u decide...

Does Toshiba Portege 3490CT ram can be bigger than 128. If so adv availability & selling outlet please.

Hello,

The motherboard has 128 MB memory (soldered on board). However there is still empty slot for further upgrade. You can install another 128 MB PC100 SDRAM memory to get maximum of 256 MB.

I would like to nwom how much of memory this laptop support

The Thinkpad is installed with 128 MB SDRAM is standard, and is expandable to 512 MB
There are two memory slots, to expand it to 512 Mb you need two 256 Mb RAM modules and throw away the 128 Mb RAM module, but if you don't throw away this module and you insert a 256 Mb RAM module in the 2nd memory slot then your total memory would be 384 Mb.

I have IBM 300pl. And it has strange fan problem.

A fan that no longer works will cause a heat problem. While it may not cause a complete failure, it can cause some strange things to start happening. Your best best is to shut the PC down and remove the cover. Restart the PC an determine which fan(s) has stopped working.

At this point, you can either 1) contact IBM for a replacement fan or 2) remove the fan yourself and google the name and model number of the fan to find a direct replacement and either order online or 3) visit a local PC repair shop to buy a replacement fan that matches the defective one.

Buying direct from IBM will probably cost the most, but will be the exact type needed for your PC. Buying locally will probably be cheaper and faster, but may not be an exact replacement unless it is the same model, etc.

When calling IBM you'll need the computer model, serial number and any other identifying numbers on it for them to help you out.

Doesn't detecting ram

The problem is either:
The ram is not compatible with your system
The ram is faulty
The motherboard is faulty
The power supply is faulty

I suggest that you try the following:
Blow the computer out with canned air, especially the ram slots
Try different ram.
