Question about Denon AVR-3200 Receiver

Open Question

Denon AVR-3200 gets error/overload with Panasonic Blu-ray.

I have a Denon AVR-3200 and a Panasonice DMP-BD60 Blu-ray player. When I turn on my whole system, the Denon will get an error / overload. After the Blu-ray outputs an audio signal, I can switch inputs on the Denon to VCR and back to DVD and the audio works fine. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks, Steve R.

SOURCE: How to connect BLU-RAY DVD player to Pioneer Plasma TV via HDMI

The best possible solution to your problem is :
Connect your blu ray player directly to the HDMI input of you Plasma and watch HD video....
and connect the 5.1/7.1 sound thru the optical or the coaxial link directly to your AVR 3805.
You will not loose anything on the Blu-Ray.
The sound is best processsed by the AVR3805, while the video, which is the real upgrade (BluRay) in terms of resolution of picture would be processed by your plasma.

Connect and Enjoy

Got the error code upd ng on my DMP-BD60.....tried to upgrade firmware

Were you upgrading it over the network from the player? If you had network problems you can also download it to your computer nd burn it to a CD. then insert the CD into your player. Here is the link to the download: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/Blu-ray-Disc-Players/Drivers-Downloads/model.DMP-BD60K.D#ts

Need codes for all regions on Panasonic DMP-BD60

Hi, I don't think there are any codes, it has to be modified by inserting a chip, and unless you know about electronics or soldering, I would either find a friend or take it to a competent repair shop, because if it is done wrong , you will have a bricked dvd player.
Here is a link that shows you what to do.

Please read it carefully.

I think this is the only way.

I hope this helps you, let me know.

How do i get my Panasonic DMP-BD60 to work...it only turns on for a second and read hello then goes off???

Regarding the Panasonic DMP-BD60, I had the exact same problem, but I also had a disc stuck inside at the time. I called Panasonic tech support and this is what solved the problem for me.
Near the bottom of the remote control is a series of colored buttons marked R, G, B, & Y. Locate the OK button, and press it together with the B & Y buttons, hold for 10 seconds.
All of a sudden, my unit came back to life and everything is working fine. We are happy now.
