A quick look on Cnet reviews says the specs for battery and power are:

Power

  • Power Device Battery charger - External
Battery
  • Supported Battery Canon NB-4L
  • Supported Battery 1 x Canon NB-4L Li-ion rechargeable battery ( Included )
An NB-4L battery charger is what you need to charge the battery for that model. My Canon charger is a small box with fold out wall socket prongs and a mount for my battery to slip into.

This looks like a Generic version sold on eBay, that includs a Euro/mexico Socket adapter.

How to reset sony dsc-w90 to factory setting

Cyber-shot cameras nowadays have a built-in rechargeable battery for retaining time, date, and other settings. Since the built-in rechargeable battery is not removable, current Cyber-shot camera models can only be returned to the original factory settings by pressing a small RESET button on the camera or by using an Initialize option in the menu.

Older-model Cyber-shot cameras (prior to the year 2000) do not have a built-in rechargeable battery and do not have a RESET button or Initialize option in the menu. These cameras require a manual power reset.

IMPORTANT: To determine whether or not your camera has a RESET button or Initialize option, or for other model-specific information to complete any of the steps in this solution, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product.

Follow the appropriate procedure below for your camera. Using an Initialize option in the menu
Since Cyber-shot cameras have different menu system layouts, refer to the instruction manual specific for your camera model.

Using a RESET button:
Locate the RESET button on the camera.
Use a pointed object (like a ballpoint pen) to press and hold the RESET button for 2-3 seconds.
After 2-3 seconds has elapsed, release the RESET button.

Performing a manual power reset:
Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Remove the button-sized lithium battery.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.

If your camera is experiencing an issue and the issue is not resolved by performing the appropriate reset procedure above, then service may be required.

Hope this helps.

I am taking a class tonight and need to bring the manual for my Canon Power Shot SD 1200 IS. I can only find the small "Getting Started" booklet. I do have a "camera User Guide" for...

The SD1100 and SD1200 are close relatives, so the SD1100 manual would be close. However, you can download the SD1200 manual (and more) from the manufacturer's web site at

1100 dead mo

Due to this phone being 8 years old, the battery may be completely dead and non-rechargeable.

You can try plugging it in and turning it to see if it turns on. If it does, but shuts off when unplugged from power, then you know the battery is dead.

Here is a link to batteries for sale.

If the phone does not turn on at all, it may have water damage or the electrical components could be shot.

I just purchased a power shot (SD 1300 IS), right before Christmas 2010.. It won't turn on it says change the battery pack? Is the battery already bad? If so, why?

If this battery is a Li-ion then when it runs down it may lock itself out. Li-ion batteries start loosing their ability to hold a charge just as soon as they are manufactured. If this camera sat on the shelf for a year, then the battery is dead and perhaps you can recharge it. If these are carbon zinc, or akaline, and they sat on the shelf in the camera, then they are surly dead.

How do I unlock my Canon Power shot Memory Card Model SD 1100 IS

SD (and SDHC) cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

When was the last time that you replaced your rechargeable battery? It was only meant to last a couple years, regardless of the amount of its use. If the battery is old, a generic replacement is relatively inexpensive these days. Look for those rated 4 or 5 stars:

My kodak digital camera won't turn on.

First, remove the SD card (if there is one) and see if it works. If it does, then the SD card is damaged. If it still doesnt work, read on..

Try regular alkaline batteries. If they work, it could indicate that your rechargeable batteries are dead and need to be replaced, or there is a problem with the charger.

If the regular batteries dont work either, try cleaning the contacts in the battery compartment of your camera, or gently scratching the contacts with a jeweller's screwdriver. If it still does not work, there is an issue with the camera's power board and it will require servicing.

Digicam problem

Is it rechargable batteries (orignal for the camera), or are you using standard batteries? (AA/RC6 kind of batteries)

If you use AA batteries (or similar) make sure you use alkaline batteries of a good brand. Cheap batteries ofteh don't have the power to run digital cameras. Especially using the LCD screen drains the batteries.

If you have a new rechargable battery and it last only a short time see if using it and recharging it a few times helps the bettery "getting into it". If not, your camera may need repairs.

Battery life expectancy

The battery life on alkaline batteries vary according to manufacturer and power rating. Alkaline Batteries can provide up to 100 shots with typical usage. The Olympus Ni-MH batteries (B-01 4PE) would provide approximately 250 shots per charge and they can be recharged 300 to 500 times. Olympus recommends the use of CR-3V litium battery packs or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary.

Batteries

The Lithium batteries that are provided with the camera will supply approximately 200 images. The Ni-MH batteries will provide approximate 100 shots per charge. The B-10LPB Lithium Polymer battery will allow 500 - 700 shots per charge and can be recharged approximately 500 times. B-12LPB Lithium Polymer Battery will deliver twice the power allowing 1000- 1400 shots per charge and can be recharged approximately 500 times. The Alkaline batteries, although can be used, is not recommended due to very low battery life.
