Question about Refrigerators
The microwave was working fine yesterday, then when I came home it was no longer heating foods. I am not sure if my babysitter hit the wrong button or it just stopped heating
Nothing your babysitter did can cause this problem. If your microwave is running but not heating it can be many different problems. Usually it is in the high voltage side of your microwave, which can be very dangerous. Do not open up a microwave case as they have voltage to some components even when it is unplugged. Most of the repairs for this problem are in the 150.00 to 450.00 range and are not worth repairing as most countertop microwaves are 50.00 to 150.00 brand new. Over the range hanging microwaves are only 175.oo to 300.00 new before installation. It is unlikely but the cheapest repair on this is probably a microswitch which is still 90 to 180.00 to repair. I usually recommend you go buy a new Panasonic mwo and make sure you have it plugged into a 2000 joule or higher surge protector as surges are a major cause of these repairs.
