Question about Brother HL 5250DN Laser Printer
I have a Brother HL-5250-DN printer.
I have a skinny black plastic roller with 2 pairs of rubber pieces and a round gear like thing at 1 end. Each end has a little post that looks as though it should fit in a hole or slot but I can't see where exactly.
There's also a very small white plastic doughnut like piece with a little tube on top and three tiny tabs around the doughnut. The opening is a little bit larger than the ends of the black plastic roller. Looking at the rear of the printer, I can see another white piece up at the top on one side of the printer but I have no idea how to put this piece back on the opposite side without dropping it inside and losing it somewhere.
I would need a detailed diagram that's big and easy to follow in order to put these parts back. Can't find anything like that.
Hi there you will have to remove the top cover and you will be able to see where it goes as the roller in question is the paper eject roller. there are usually four screws under the top cover and also at the rear of the machine. The picture where the roller is resting on the top of the printer the roller is situated right under that also that white bushing holds the roller in at one end usually the left as you look at the machine from the front.
