I have a 250sx and had the same proble my kicker wont go down what do i do

did you recently overheat the engine? it may be locked up. put the bike on a milk crate so the back wheel is off the ground. put the tranny in 3rd gear, and spin the back wheel. if the wheel wont turn, you burned up your motor, (seized your piston to the cylinder by overheating or running out of oil) or fried your transmission. if it turns the motor, you probably broke a tooth on the kicker gear anddthe broken piece is stuck in the gear..

Drive belt broke, identify wich one and can I repair myself ?

The one that is still on is most likely the AC. The other belt are for the water pump and alternator or power steering pump. (the starter has no belts). Yes get a new belt and put it on like you said. Loosen whole alternator and slide back and forth to put on belt.

Pull Rope Broke... How do I replace it and still have it retract?

with the cover in your hand pull the cord out with a pair of needle nose pliers or a little screw driver and where the cord go through the case and before the wheel. pull 5 to 10 inches out and wrap the cord around the wheel turning the wheel but not winding the cord on., do 3 or 4 wraps then pull the handle to get all the cord out and let it retract. if not enough rewind just repeat with 2 wraps
