Hello there! thanks for using Fixya.com!
Kindly check the message center number from your mobile phone if its already there or you can contact your Network Service Provider to provide you the specific and correct message center number. Usually, you don't have to touch these numbers. If you suspect they are incorrect, contact your mobile service provider
and ask them to send an Over The Air (OTA) message with the correct information in it.
Please be informed that the SMS Message Center Number
is a phone number that acts as a gateway for transferring SMS messages between cellular devices.
Where are these numbers stored?
- Launch the SMS application.
- Access the Menu launcher.
- From the Options pulldown menu, select Preferences.
- The SMS Message Center and SMS E-mail Center number should appear. (Treo 600 note: tap on the tab that says SIM). If you do not see any numbers, it means your mobile service provider does not allow you to change these numbers. But usually you can edit these numbers and your Network Service Provider will provide you the correct and specific one.
Hope this will help!!!
