Question about Apple iPhone 3G
I dropped my phone down the loo and was there for prob all of 2 seconds. I think it has dried out and everything appears to be working apart from the backlight. I can make out the icons etc on screen in a good light but that's about it? The phone is under insurance by the mobile company but I'm not sure whether this will cover it? What else could I do if it isn't?
This happened to my ipod touch. buy an lcd screen from ebay for your generation, it'll run you from 5-25 dollars. then look on youtube for "how to replace (your phone's generation) iphone screen" and do what it says. my ipod screen looks better than ever

The only thing you can do is to dry it out.Remove the battery panel and battery.
Wipe inside battery compartment and battery with kitchen towel, then move all pieces to a warm room(not on radiator) and leave for 24 hrs.
Then fix in battery and battery panel.Turn on ,that will be the best as you can get this phone. Fingers crossed for you.
