In the winter you would want the fan turningclockwise and on most ceiling fans it is in the up position. and in the summer you want it in the down position running counter clockwise creating a wind chill effect.

How do I reverse direction of hunter fan using universal remote 99121?

you don't
Reverse direction for a ceiling fan is a clockwise motion producing an updraft. In the winter, when your heater is running, reversing your ceiling fan moves warm air near the ceiling down to the floor. This greatly reduces your energy use and can lower your energy bills by as much as 15 percent. You will need a ladder or a step stool to reach the motor housing. Turn off your ceiling fan and locate the direction switch on the motor housing. This one is here, sometimes they are on the top of the motor housing. Make sure your fan has come to a complete stop before flipping the direction switch in the opposite direction

Allen & Roth Eastview ceiling fan. How do I reverse to pull up warm air instead of blowing air down?

Look for a slide switch on the side of the housing beneath the motor. If the manufacturer wired it correctly, the up position will pull up warm air and the down position will blow air down.

I have Hawkins ceiling fan. How do I switch blade directions - between warm weather (counter clockwise) & cool weather (clockwise)?

Clockwise on high for Summer. Counter Clockwise on slowest speed for Winter, to get the heat off the ceiling. A good way to remember which direction it should go from season to season , is by the directional switch on the side of the fan.. Switch Up for Winter. Switch Down for Summer.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Fan has a switch for winter and summer. Is it up or down for summer?

This is probably a reversing switch changing the rotation direction. Check the air flow from the fan to find if it is pulling air up or pushing it down. Pushing down from the ceiling will be the 'winter' setting, pulling up, the summer. Since warm air gathers at the ceiling, it is beneficial to have it move that air downward during cold weather and have it pull up cooler air from the floor in summer. I frankly don't notice much difference though.

This is known as the CZT or Climate Zone Technology fan and if you direct wire it and it does not run, replace.
This is the cold zone fan which supplies cold air to the meat and crisper drawers.

The fan has a limit control wired in series that shuts the fan down until the coil temperature reaches 25*F. this prevents the fan from blowing warm around after defrost.
There is also a switch which is placed for the door to close. Either one may be defective.
Worst case is the freezer is not pulling down temperature wise.

Fan going in wrong direction! how to switch blades!

There is usually a slide switch on the motor housing. Simply switch it to the other position.

For summer, you want the wind to blow down on you. Hold a strip of paper in your hand and see which way it goes.

For winter, you want the wind to blow upwards. This will push against the ceiling, forcing the warm air to circulate down to the floor level.
