Re: battery cover

I've found the camera manufacturers are reluctant to sell parts to the public. Many times people attempt to install the parts, and butcher the part and the camera. Guess who gets blamed? The manufacturer! Even a seemingly simple to install battery door for the 2800 is not as easy as it looks. I know this because I just tried it. You may need to send the camera to an authorized service facility.

Broke lense

that depends on if you want to spend more than the camera is worth. The labor involved in replacing a lens would probably buy you a new camera. This is difficult because it is not just one lens, it is a series of lenses, which have to be removed from the camera, and then calibrated to make sure that, for instance, they focus properly in all zoom ranges. This is a very time consuming job, that I would only consider for a $1000+ Zeiss lens for an SLR.

Droped my camera

Repairing the flash is probably too difficult for most people as a DIY solution. Professional repair could be quite pricey. I would suggest buying the same model on eBay but one with a broken screen, they're quite common. Buy as carefully as you can, most sellers will admit to additional faults and even claim a working unit. Don't pay more than £10 plus postage, and swap-out your screen. This is an easy DIY project. You will need a small tri-blade screwdriver and a small pozi, but takes less than 10mins with care. Further info if required. Paddywack.

Battery Cover Replacement Part for Kodak CX7330

I did the same thing. Is the little medal piece still on the inside of the battery cover. If not you will have to replace the entire door and you should be all set.
