Question about Samsung Yepp YP-P2 Digital Media Player
When i have it plugged into the computer to download songs no prob. i can get the songs on and i can plug in the ear phones to listen but as soon as turn it on a picture of a battery comes on with a red X on the battery and shuts off so this was a christmas gift of my 6year olds and my oldest 19 yr old opened it so i dont know if anything else came with it all i saw and have is the mp4 as i was told it is called it does play video's and there is a usb cord that is it that is all i saw my oldes son went back home and i called him and he said that is all he saw now i dont know if that is the case or not there were 4 of my children opening presents here that day so i dont know what was here and what got threw away but every christmas something does...so can someone please help me tell me what i need to do or what i am missing or need to buy someone got him this for christmas cant remember who.
please help anyone dont even know what store it came from i know not wal mart i asked tonight when i went up to buy rock band for them for playstation 2 and they dont carry craigs....
The player needs to be turned off when you first plug it into the usb cord that is already plugged into the computer. once you have the usb cord plugged into the computer and into the mp4 player, you need to slide the switch to the on position. that is how the battery charges. leave it plugged in overnight and the battery will be charged in the morning.

i got the same player for my birthday.
you should have received a disc with your player which you have to load onto your computor this gives you a media studio where you can dowload music & vdio from your files on your computor it is veryeasy software to use.

Turn off the player and let charge for about 4 hrs via USB port. This will charge the battery.
To upload songs to the player plug in to USB port and look for the removable drive through my computer or windows explorer. drag and drop MP3s into to removable drive window.
