My Ipod won't be recognized by any computer when plugged in
When I plug in the ipod to a computer, it is not even recognized-can't back up songs or download anything new. It's not the computer, because our other ipods work on them. The ipod will plug in to a wall charger and charge. Very frustrating as I bought it used and want to put my own stuff on it, but I'd like to save a few of the things on it as well. Can't do either. Any suggestions?

If you backed up your iPod in iTunes before it synced with your iPod you may be able to restore your songs. In iTunes, plug your iPod into the computer and right click on your iPod when it appears in iTunes. You should see a Restore Backup or similar choice in the Right Click menu. Try restoring the backup. If this doesn't work, you won't be able to recover your music.
