Bought car with this remote in it. You can lock and unlock car, push car start button. Car will try to start 3 times, without success. The dealer replaced the car battery, would this have kicked out the command to start the car, or is it maybe in a service mode so when they did work on it the car wouldn't start accidental.
It sounds like the system needs tach sensor reprogramming. The remote start system may have a tachometer sensing mode where the system "knows" that the car is running and to stop cranking the starter when when the engine is running. Generally when the vehicles battery is disconnected the system "forgets" the setting of the tachometer at idle which is programmed at the time if installation. Take it to a remote start installation store for this or get a hold of a maual for your system and shouldnt be too dificult to program.

Is there a small green LED flashing inside the wall button?
Push and hold the lock button for about two seconds and the LED should stop flashing. This will unlock the garage door opener and your remotes should start working. You may have to reprogram your remotes and homelink again since you triedprograming in the lock mode.

under the dash there should be 1 or 2 red wires going into the the 477T, take the fuse out of the holder and try to start your car with the key, if it still doesn't start there might be a start kill relay hooked to the starter look for a small black cube with 4 wires going into it, it will be hooked to your starter wire, if you use a jumper wire and hook it to pin 30 and 87 it will bypass the relay and your car should start
