Question about RIM BlackBerry 8700g
Remove the battery and you should see a sticker with several numbers on it behind where the battery was resting. One of these should be labeled either an IMEI or an ESN.
Contact the service provider the phone was made to be used with (AT&T, Verizon, whomever) and provide them with this IMEI or ESN. Once they have obtained the number, they can provide you with the unlocking code as well as the process to unlock it.

BlackBerry phones are very secure. There is no way to unlock yourmodel without paying for either Vodafone or an unlocking shop.
Independent unlocking shops have to make a significantinvestment in software and tools to be able to generate unlocking codes and themoney has to be recouped quickly whilst the relevant models are stillcommonplace, so they won't hand the codes out for out for free.
Once you have your code, please report back fordetailed instructions on how to enter the code into your Curve 8310. Note thatthe process may vary for different models and is definitely different if youhave a Storm or Storm 2.
