I'm running XP service pack 3 with an AMD Athalon 64 3400+ 2.2GHz processor, and 1.5GB Ram.

  • dudewoe_a Dec 15, 2009

It's been doing this for a while. I haven't ever updated the bios. I'll try that.

Hey dudewoe_a,

Let me guess your on XP2 with an AMD CPU? Upgrade to XP3 and the problem will go away.

If not, let me know and I'll walk you through other possible solutions.

Best of Luck

    Hi,

Have you updated your bios lately? I know that Asus had problems with this board a while back. Did this just start happening, and all was well before? Did you add, change, or remove anything from the computer? Sorry for the questions, but the more info the easier it is to diagnose.

Good luck!

as long as you can hear your fuel pump turning on when you turn the key on i would try changing the crank sensor. If you can't hear the fuel pump it is probably a computer problem.
