Whirlpool door lock

- hi,when i close the door the start light flashes,so i presss start again,then usually you hear a click when the door locks and the red door locked loght comes on and starts the wash cycle,but there isnt no clicking so the door isnt locking,so the light doesnt come on and wont start the cycle thank you sharon

- hi no u dont hear it click or u dont hear it trying to lock the model number is AW0 3561/5.IT WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL MY 2 YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER MESSED WITHIT,NO IDEA WHAT SHE DID THANKS FOR UR HELP

- yes it as a bottom panel but it where the pump is.

- HI NO THERE IS NO WIRING DIAGRAM AT THE BOTTOM,WE HAVE JUST TOOK THE RUBBER SEAL OFF AND CHECKED THE DOOR INTERLOCK WIRES AND THEY SEEM OK THEN WE TOOK THE TOP OFF AND THE WIRIG ON THE DOOR LOCKED LIGHT LOOKS OK.

- first of all im in the uk,so dont know if that why u carnt find it?the model number is AWO 3561/5 WHIRLPOOL AND THE SERIAL IS 410527008017 IT ALSO AS A SERVICE NUMBER 859203315500 IF THIS IS ANY HELP.the original interlock as 3 pins and the one i brought had 6 pins but the domestic shop said this wil be ok just plug it into the middle pins you dont think that the original interlock broke and the one they sold me is the wrong one thats why theres no difference,no door locked light comes on?when i went onto the whirlpool uk website and looked on the interlocks for this model it showed me the one i had brought which again had more pins than the original one.
