Wrong way round, YOU tell us the model number and type and we tell you where to get the shade. You can see the fan in your house, but we can't. That makes it really difficult for us. Some shades are plain, some are fluted, some have patterns.

I'd love to think that Home Depot would be able to help you but it seems they have no memory of this awesome ceiling fan. I bought it for my first house and wish I could even find a photo of it now. If memory serves it had a somewhat shallow globe, similar to many of the Hampton Bay fans. My suggestion would be to carefully measure the diameter you need, understanding that it stays in place by means of the insertion screws. Then find a replacement that fits among Hampton Bays current offerings. I'm certain it's possible. Such a shame they no longer sell this extremely cool looking and enormous fan. Cheers.

Did you find a solution? I just received mine and have the same issue.

I have the same fan and it is a pain to replace bulbs. There are two "V" shaped springs that hold the diffuser in place on mine. I pull the diffuser down until the springs (actually heavy gauge rods) are fully extended, maybe 4-6 inches. I then tip the diffuser and get my hand in to remove and then replace the bulbs. If your units were "altered" by someone forcing them in the past, you may have bigger problems. The springs are hard to bend to get the diffuser down and the upper part of the springs actually rub on the metal housing of the fan. Perhaps a little WD40 where the springs enter the metal housing will help a bit.

you can either check the company that made the fan or try your local home depot in the light isle towards the back you should see fan parts and light globes.

Make life simple. Go to the big box home center in your town and get a complete set of glass shades of a style that suits your fancy.

go to Home Depot, not only do they have replacements, but they can order for you what you need.  Hampton Bay is the Home Depot brand.

The globe rotates counterclockwise, Apply pressure to the glass,then once it lines up, it slips out. It's a pain and may require some gentle force. If its stuck spray lightly with WD40. Be careful. Saxman, Home Depot would be the only way to get the cover. If they dont have it, you may be stuck.Hampton Bay doesnt sell parts. Sorry.
