I have a Quinton Clubtrack 3.0 treadmill. I have to reset to start the treadmill. Once it starts it runs for about 5 seconds then shuts off with error code E205 displayed........ Is it worth fixing? is it a costly fix? Please advise...
E105 means power interruption if this is a 3.0 or Hyper Drive just need to hit clear or start that should take of code until either it is unplugged another power outage

Quinton E203 Error, Motor Overcurrent (Overload)
Probable Cause
1. Obstruction to motor pulleys or belt
2. Disconnected or loose motor lead
3. User outside the weight/speed envelope.
4. Excessive wear to deck/belt.
5. Motor.
6. Lower Electronics.
Corrective Action
Quinton Treadmill Models: Club Track 3.0 and Hyperdrive
Inspect for obstruction and remove if necessary.
If the motor did not turn, inspect for loose or disconnected motor lead. Reconnect if necessary.
Restrict users to weight capacity of unit. Restrict use to people that do not move slower or faster then speed setting.
Inspect deck and belt condition. Deck should have a slick smooth surface, free of nicks, grooves, or rough areas. Deck should be flipped or replaced if necessary. Underside of belt should not have a hard glazed appearance. Belt should be replaced when deck is flipped or replaced.
Club Track 3.0 models: Remove power and allow unit to cool for 15 minutes. If unit operates and then error appears again, replace drive motor. Hyperdrive models: Remove power and wait for high voltage indicator to go out. Check resistance between motor leads. If the reading is greater than 100 ohms, the motor needs replaced.
Club Track 3.0 models: Remove power and allow unit to cool for 15 minutes. If error message appears immediately, replace the lower electronics. Hyperdrive models: Remove power and wait for high voltage indicator to go out. Check resistance between motor leads. If the reading is less than 100 ohms, replace the lower electronics.
The following describes the steps required to calibrate the lift motor on a Stairmaster (Quinton) ClubTrack.
Enter service mode on the treadmill by using the following keys at the same time:
Faster - Slower - Stop Belt
Allow the lift motor to free spin by removing the bolts from the metal block on the jack screw.
Press the up arrow on the control panel until the incline is at 5% then press the down arrow and take it back down to 0%. This will allow the lift motor rheostat to find its range.
Spin the metal block on the jackscrew to allow 1 - 1.5 threads to be exposed from the top. Secure the lift motor back to the frame by inserting the 2 bolts through the bracket holes and into the metal block. NOTE: Double check the spacers on each side to make sure they are flush.
Run the treadmill incline up to 15% and check the jackscrew to verify it has not bottomed out before reaching 15%. There should be around 4 - 6 threads exposed. Bring the treadmill back to 0% where there should be the same amount of threads exposed from the top of the jackscrew. If you see the correct amount of threads the lift motor is calibrated.
NOTE: If there is an error on the display panel, ex. E211, you need to manually turn the jackscrew back to 0%. To perform this unscrew the 2 bolts from the bracket securing the metal box and jackscrew allowing it to freespin. Use a shop rag or towel to wrap around the jackscrew to prevent damage to the threads. Using a pair of pliers (channel locks or vice grips recommended) manually turn the jackscrew back to 0%. Once this is accomplished run through the above steps to perform the calibration.
1 )Locate
the reset switch on the underside of the treadmill console. Usually
the button is large enough to trigger with a pencil eraser or Q-tip.
Plug the treadmill plug back into the wall. Use the Q-tip to press
the reset button. It may be necessary to hold the reset button down
for a few seconds. "CL11" will appear in the display of the
treadmill.
2
Press the
reset button one more time with the Q-tip. "CL21" should
appear on the screen. Press the enter key. The display will change
again and show "CL22." Keep pressing the enter key until
the numbers cycle through to the number "CL26." Press enter
one more time. The letter E should appear on the display screen.
3
Press enter
twice more. The letters "SS" should appear on the screen.
When this happens, press the start/stop key. Making sure to keep well
away from the tread, press enter to start the treadmill. The
treadmill will start on its own. The treadmill will stop on its own
after a few seconds. When it stops, press the power key two times.
Remove the safety key and put in a safe place. Your treadmill is
reset

Dear Sir: Your problem is lack OF LUBE, do it in according with the instruction manual maintenance, is to due worn deck.
This produce enough friction between deck vs deck belt. 3) Test the input voltage for main motor if there are voltage motor need repair or replace. 4) Test the output voltage from main board, if there are NOT, the board is faulty. 5) Try to RUN the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.

E203 = Motor unable to run. Usually caused by the VSD Lower Board. This board is about 14" square on a Quinton Clubtrack Hyperdrive 3.0
Rather difficult to remove escpecially if your not familair with electronical compnents in a tight space.
My reapir coast $374 from J&R Technical Services and exactly one year later I got the exact same code. Warranty is 90 days.
It appears they rebuilt one of the components on the board called a Phase Modulator. There are three of them. They stated they had replaced it, but upon close inspection it appears that simply replaced the bad micro-component on the modulator and reinstalled the exact same phase again.
I'm debating whether to trust them once again. Little choice though since they control the market and have the equipment to reset the board upon repair. Nobody at thome has this equipment.
