Moisture not coming out

We just bought the Bemis ED11 800 and there doesn't seem to be any moisture blowing out. We let it run all night and the humidity level in the room did not change at all.

I realize this answer is a year old; but, i would guess you didn't let the wick become saturated before running. fill the resevoir with water, then let the humidifier sit idle while the wick is saturating. when it is completely saturated, the refill light will go off. refill the resevoir with additional water, as needed. then you can run the humidifier.

CF is displayed on my humidifier...what is that?

Check Filter Indicator

The ability of any humidifier to efficiently supply humidity output relies heavily on the

condition of the filter. As the filter loads with impurities it gradually loses its wicking

capability. When this happens, moisture output is reduced and the humidifier has to work

longer to satisfy the selected setting. This humidifier has a check filter reminder timed to

appear after 720 hours of operation. When the Check Filter (CF) message is displayed,

disconnect the power cord and check the condition of the filter. If a build-up of deposits or

severe discoloration is evident replace the filter to restore maximum efficiency. The CF
message is reset when the humidifier is plugged back in.

Model RCM-832. On/off switch works, blows air but no moisture seems to come out. I left it on for at least one day and the water level in the tank remained the same.

First check humid-stat setting make sure that the room is not above setting. Second check that float(water level) switch is being made. Hope that helps

I have a Bemis Humidifier, Model 821 000. I just put in a new filter and dusted the fan blades as best I could. Now the sensor seems to be off kilter. I set it to 45% humidity, and it doesn't cut off,...

MORE INFO HERE THAN THE BOOK SAYS
1. The sensor is capable of picking up the moisture in the air 2. The sensor is normally built in to these items and you can change the filter with no results 3. These units are designed for much smaller areas in terms of the dehumid. features although advertisements say different 4. Whe3n you cleaned your screen filter, ensure you run water through the same filter for best results

The light is on but the motor doesn't start up even with the moisture set high

Please check the switch for the water bucket that senses wether the container is in place or not. That will stop the unit from running.

It blows air, but no moisture comes out or is used from cannister. where could the problem be?

You need to add salt. I'm not sure if table salt or some other salt is best, but it requires that addition to create noticeable mist. I use probably 1 tsp.

Maybe you can answer my question. What is the model number? I've been searching for and have found replacement filters, but I'm not sure which ones to buy. Please let me know at [email protected]

Air/no moisture

the reason why you might not see the moisture coming out cause it's a cool mist humidifier. to test your humidity in your house you might want to get a humidistat which will letyou know if your getting the humidity in your room or not. now if it's a warm mist you will see it but it's a coolmist so you won't see moisture coming out.

No moisture

Is the level of water dropping? If so, the humidifier is working. If you have a cool air humidifier you won't see any steam or anything at all. You will just feel cool air. Watch the water level and see what happens.

Good Luck.
