Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 6 Series II Typewriter
It happens when the carriage does not move or some of the key is stucked up.
check all the keys properly.also see that none of the key is loosened up too.
try pressing space key and type single letter and again press space key and type a single letter --do this few times and check if it has same space between all the letters.if between some letters the space is short .then there is the problem with the wheel assembly that needs to be checked.
