Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
I have a officejet pro 8500. I have a problem printing envelopes. my old 7600 did a great job. this new one prints the address first and the return address last causing a 1" plus space from the end of the envelope. I have tried almost every thing and can not get it to print the return address first. Please help.
Check two areas
1.. It could be the software your using to print the envelops.
2...It could be the printer driver.
Go on HP's site, and check and see if there has been any updated printer driver, or patch file. Hope this helps.

You seem to have clogged nozzles/printhead. Take out cartridges, do a thorough clean down where cartridges sit, the printhead, even the roller as well. Run your printers own cleaning maintenance before you do it manually with cleaning solution. Problem should be gone when you reinsert cartridges. Don't froget to reset ink levels and cartridges. good luck!!!

SOURCE: Epson Stylus NX400 While printing envelopes, I keep getting a black ink blot on the bottom right hand corner of the envelopes. It happens to about every 1 out of 4 envelopes. I printed the return addr
Envelopes can give all sorts of problems Back corner is flicking up. Try rolling the envelopes in the opposite direction to the "bowing" as they have been through machine once.

Please consult this HP support article for printing envelopes with your machine. Make sure you have allowed a sufficient margin from the edge of the envelope or the printer will be unable to print your setup. If you're using a MAC os, see here.
