Hello, welcome to FixYa. Based on your post I understand you have a draining error (looks like a F02 or F09 in the digital display...most likely F02 that is associated with the draining) with a Kenmore washer, the error means an excessive drain time or excessive suds was detected as you may or may not already know. If you follow the link to my solution to this error designed specifically for "do-it-yourselfers" you should be fixed up in no time. (It's much quicker for me than pasting or retyping the complete solution several hundred times, that's how common this is)
SUDS LOCK (to much detergent detected during the wash cycle)
he motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential suds lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds.
• If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent. • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE- If this failure is displayed then there is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.
1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly. 2. Check if the air trap is not blocked. 3. Check if the hose is not blocked
If it still not works then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch.
Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.
Try using less soap (hi eff machine)
try using more fabric softner
to clear the occasional Sud warning, I run the machine on "quick wash" with no detergent/additive. gives it two more quick spin cycles in 30-35 minutes, usually clears it.
ok lets see here im onthejob,,i take it that cycle stops with suds..ok first are we using he or low sudsing detergent,,,next when you clean pump filter did you check pump wires for defectives,,,try and bleach unit out to get rid of slugg...also check connection to pressure switch,,and ccu...keep me posted..onthejob
I own a HE3 kenmore elite for 4 years now and the troubleshooting codes are: SUD When excessive suds are detected, a suds routine automatically starts. This causes the cycle to go longer to remove the excess suds. Reduce detergent amounts or use HE detergent.
The F02 error I had with mine and it is a drain problem. Book says check the hose for kinks, clogged or is it more than 96 inches above the floor. On mine it was the fan pump on the forward motor that drains the washer. It was worn and not pushing out the water fast enough. You will hear a high pitched whine at the front bottom of the washer if this is bad.
To reset the washer from the F02 error, select pause/cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or dissconnect power. good luck
