This issue is usually cause by a defective optical drive eject mechanism. You can try to replace the drive yourself using an Apple Tablet Repair Guide or send it to a third party service Apple Tablet Repair.

These mac books are fairly easy to open if you feel comfortable with following how to guides.
Powerbookmedic dot com has free pdf guides of how to open these up.
Once the few screws are out, the keyboard top cover lifts up and give you access to everything, then you can get a good look at the drive.

ok if you can scan and check for viruses sometimes virus can play havoc on your computor if that doesnt solve it and if it is under warranty take it back where you got it from and tell them the problem.

Im having a problem my x box 360 arcade wont work i have taken everything apart and took a look at the laser but it looks fine but when i put a game in it wont read what should i do?

Even if the laser lens looks fine it may still be faulty, or the HD drive itself might not be functioning correctly.

Is your console still under warranty? If so then contact Microsoft and get them to fix it for you for free.

If not you will have to either pay a 3rd party repair service to fix your 360, or try and fix the drive error yourself. You can read more about doing that here

Macbook sleeping with top case attached

what do you mean plug it in, why have you taken the macbook apart in the first place, why would you take it off? because what your talking about is this, Since its not a customizable Notebook PC, if you "tried" to upgrade the macbook, you may have done something wrong and that may be the reason since when you take apart a mac and put it together again, chances are if you have no exp. it wont work. I should know since im trained in Apple Macs. All you can do is if you are on a apple protection plan, Apple might fix it for you, depending on what you have done, or they may not since you might have lost your warranty to the Macbook. Regards

Macbook won't detect!

First thing to do is to put in a CD cleaning disk. You can buy this at most electronics stores. Run this disk 4 or 5 times. I've never found that one pass was good enough. Then try one of the disks that your computer previously would not read. If that doesn't work, chances are that your drive is going bad. I don't know how long you've had the MacBook, but you should call Apple immediately to see if you can get a replacement drive for free.

Maxtor Basics 1Tb external hard drive not working

option 01. try the unit on another windows pc. if its the same. i am afraid you might have an issue with the device.

option 2 . you could remover the **** from the enclosure & fix it directly to the pc so that you can retrive the data. however this will have an impact on your warranty

This was a problem that happended when Microsoft first put out officeX. The problem was random and the easy fix but not a solution without a upgrade is open the doc and do a save as. Also changing the folder the Doc sits in will let you do it.

Hey, this looks familar. Here's the same answer (first)....

Sometimes this is a dirty surface on the Disk. Watching it with a soft cloth and non-abrasive 'gentle' dish soap can help. At least, that's what Netflix tells me to do with them.

If it's happening on EVERY disk, and all you're playing are commercial, new, pre-recorded DVDs, then there's more things to try. Some links from reputable sources:

After all that fails, it's probably time to change the DVD drive inside the player. Sometimes this is easy, sometimes not. :) with the DRC 630N, this would be more in the 'not' arena. :)

Of course, if you have a valid warranty, then when you're left with no solutions that don't void the warranty, you have to decide whether to try to pass it off to the warranty holder for repairs.

But, with more information....can you still play the games that this unit comes with? Assuming so, then the problem is probably one of alignment of the read sensor. This is generally a repairman fix.
