Hi, Does it only not print pdf's in adobe reader? Have you made sure you had the correct printer selected in the printer setup window? Did pdf's ever print and how long have you had this problem? Once I have more information I can assist you further.
Thank you,
Lee

Printing pdf can only be performed from withing Adobe Acrobat reader or other program with the ability to open a pdf file. Another thing to check is you may have multiple versions of Acrobat reader installed. Choose the latest version and uninstall the others.

I apologize for taking so long to reply. Another cause of your problem is the temp files in Acrobat itself. To purge the Temp files, do the following:

    10. Delete Acrobat temporary files. Excess temporary files can cause Acrobat to freeze or appear to freeze when you print.

    To delete temporary files:

    1. Close any open applications.

    2. Choose Start > Run, and type command in the Open text box. Click OK.

    3. Type each of the following commands, pressing Enter after each command:

    c:

    cd\

    del acr*.tmp /s

    1. Type exit to close the Command.com window.

Cannot print pdf file on x1270

If all else prints fine except when printing PDF files, try to update your Adobe Acrobat. Then, after the update is successful, try to print your PDF file again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I am unable to print pdf documents on my Image Class d880 printer. I used to be able to...but am not able to anymore. Any reason why this is happening?

Maybe your pdf is protected by print password, in this case, you have to use the pdf password remover to remove the print permission. Here is tutorial on how to remove it on windows:

Cannot duplex print pdf files. No problem for over 2 years until now. Word docs OK have tried changing printing settings and default but problem persists. Advice would be really appreciated. Thanks

Printing PDF files without special software can be a problem, if you print a lot of files of different formats and need to deal with a few printers.

Total PDF Printer from Coolutils is a program features a lot of printing modes and adjustable parameters that will help to optimize the process of printing PDF files. To save the paper, it offers ability to print PDF files in duplex mode, i.e. print PDF pages from both sides of paper sheet.

You do not need to turn each sheet by your hands, as the program changes printer settings so that this process is automated.

Total PDF Printer is a perfect suit for personal or professional use for printing PDF files. It automatically connects to all printers enabled in the system and redirects printing tasks to the trays you specify.

Missing lines on PDF from a large TurboCad file

Will TurboCAD allow you to export to a .pdf instead of printing to a .pdf? Have you tried printing to a file (.prn) before turning the file to a .pdf? To print to a file, click Print Setup, there should be a box to check to Print To File. Make sure you check that box. Then you should be asked to pick a file format which should be .prn if you are using windows. After you create the .prn file, then open Acrobat and convert the .prn to a .pdf. I hope this helps you with your problem. Printing can be a pain with CAD programs.

Printing PDF files

I had this problem after I had fixed a problem printing from Quicken. I was able to print from Quicken by changing the print option in Windows -- mine was set to "Spool documents" and I changed it to "Print directly from printer" -- the advice I was given was to change it from whatever it was set at to the other option. For printing a PDF file, I changed it back to "Spool documents" and it allowed me to print the PDF file. Try this and see if it works for you -- click the Windows Start button and select Settings, then Printers and Faxes. Right click on the selected printer and select Properties. In the properties window look for a setting to print directly to printer or spool documents -- mine was under the Advanced option. Try the option not currently selected -- in my case, I changed it back to Spool documents with Begin printing immediately -- and then try to print a PDF file. It looks like I will have to toggle back and forth when I am printing from Quicken and when I am printing a PDF file. Hope this works for you.
