Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
I HAVE HAD MY TELEVISION FOR ALMOST 11 YEARS, AND OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS THE PICTURE SEEM TO HAVE GOTTEN DARKER AND UNABLE TO ADJUST COLOR. WHAT CAN BE MY PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO GET RID OF TV, CAUSE IT WILL COST MORE TO SERVICE; AND I WOULD BE BETTER TO GET A NEW ONE
Your CRT coolant needs to be changed. Thats whats giving you the dim picture. You can also clean the projection mirror on the inside this often helps. But the coolant will need to be changed to get back the bright crisp picture. Hope this helps.
