Question about HP Compaq Presario V6000T Notebook
If the sytem restore went futile? try to run the recovery cd of your laptop and this will repair all damaged registry files. And if these 2 option cannot solve your problem there is no other way except to reformat your computer. Backup first all your important files in a CD or external hard drive.

Those messages came up because you did not shut down your system properly or maybe there is a problem with your operating system.
If problem still persists even after you shut down properly, then I would advice that you do a system restore on your laptop.
When you carry out the system restore, your laptop functions would be normal and you would not see those messages that showed initially.
To do system restore, click start menu, click all programs, look out for Recovery and Backup Manager, click it and follow instructions carefully. Before you carry out this action, make sure you backup all your files as the system restore will wipe them off.
After the system restore is done, please make sure you shut down your system properly so that what happened at first would not repeat itself again.

Testimonial: "I understand why it happened, but I do not know how to get off of that screen to do as you said. Is there away I can download a restore disc? If you"
Hi ,you should only get that if you're not shutting down , does the laptop turn off when shutting down ?
The other thing is when starting up, it has a problem talking to a device driver therefore putting itself in safe mode,
goto the following to update the drivers etc.

Tips for a great answer:
AS YOU ON THE SYSTEM AND EVEN BEFORE WINDOWS
STARTS KEEP PRESSING THE F8 KEY CONTINUEOUSLY. A MENU WILL APPEAR. SELECT SAFE
MODE AND ENTER. WINDOWS WILL LOAD IN SAFE MODE. THIS WILL SOLVE SOME OF YOUR
PROBLEMS. NOW RESTART THE SYSTEM IN NORMAL
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK SELECT "LOAD WINDOWS
WITH LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION " AND THEN RESTART. THIS WILL SURELY
SORT OUT YOUR PROBLEM.
PLS REPLY OR COMMENT. THANKS
