Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Assuming that you have no other information in the error message, most of these errors indicate an internal problem with the printer. With the printer plugged in, remove the USB cable from the printer (removing it from the computer shouldn't be needed in this case), remove the ink cartridges from the unit, then wait until the insert cartridges message appears. Now unplug the printer's power cord and wait 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the unit if it doesn't turn on on its own. Reinsert the ink cartridges and close all the doors on the unit. Print a calibration page if you get the prompt for it. Finally reconnect the USB cable and try to print normally. If these steps fail, the printer needs service at HP.
