Our minolta 4000 is asking to enter access code

Scanner fault,open the front door upper left should see access cover, open press trouble reset if the code comes back replace

Parts that may need to be replaced
Scanner Motor M4

Power Supply Unit PU 1

SCP Board PWB-F

Master Board PWB-A

If you can find these parts you have a legacy Minolta analog copier not even digital


try this as a start

The acces code Stop - 0 - Stop - 1.

initialize the machine...speak to your technician to help you do this

Open the front door then look to you upper left. See a small access cover remove one screw the press the trouble reset button. Machine must be on. If the code come back do not reset you are resetting codes for the fuser the hot part. it could catch on fire and that would ruin a perfectly good day! Have the fuse looked at if the code comes back before resetting the code

C - 0100 Charge corona wire winding failure.
C - 0200 PC drum charge,Image transfer/paper separator coronas failure.
Clean the coronas wire and the coronas house using isoprophil alcohol and clean or change the contact combs(a little Cu pieces)
If you enter in service mode and select Counter mode you can reas the trouble code list description.

Could not find that code in the service manual how about C0000 or c-0010

The fan is not easy to replace...... The fan is located under the black transport belts. The fan is part
of the unit that brings the paper from the transfer & drum to the fuser unit. The unit is black and it looks like tank tracks. From what I remember the fan is acturely in the transport unit ... Good Luck

try and locate botton called ACCESS.on the OP Panel should be pressed after you enter you access code

clear web or drum count and developer,you will not effect the the machine aporation,by clearing count
