##322 - error code. Alarm light will not shut

There was a communication error with the receiving fax machine due to poor telephone line conditions.
Solution

• Set the receiving machine to receive at a slower transmission speed
  
• If the session fails after sending several pages of a large document, resend the document as several smaller documents.
  
• Retry the fax reception at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.
  

Video might not help but 322 is an error with the receiving fax machine due to poor telephone line conditions. Solution is to set the receiving machine to receive at a slower transmission speed if it still fais resend the documents in smaller sizes. Hope this helps

The error depends on the fax model that you are using. Error 322 on Canon Fax and other machine may significate that the Fuser is not heating (Usually Bad Fuser Module).


A different thing is Comm error 322 on computer, that means that there is no communication, and can be caused by bad phone cable, software problems and hardware problems.
In that case ensure that you are using a fax cable with two poles. If the problem started recently do a system restore to a date before the problem started.

If you get the 322 on display, even when computer is not connected, you usually need to replace the fuser unit.

The remote user pressed the Stop key,
The remote machine encountered a system problem such as no paper or a paper jam.
Try
Configure the local fax machine to use a slower reception speed.
Disable ECM mode on your machine.
Try sending a fax to another location.

The fixing assembly (The hot rollers) of the printer is faulty. This need to be replaced by a service technician.
Faxes are received in memory because they cannot be printed.

The Fixing unit of the fax is blown.Replace the fixing unit.

Error code ## 322 indicates that the Fuser not heating (Usually cause by a Bad Fuser Module)

##322 is the fuser unit under the cart that needs to be replaced!Good Luck!

Try cleaning the "rollers" in the track where the paper feeds through. Look for small pieces of paper that may be logged where you can't readily see them. Look carefully. Once you clear the paper path it should work.
