INSTALL ERROR - THE INSTALLER COULD NOT LOCATE A SUITABLE FOLDER TO INSTALL INTO

The issue seems to be related to a Windows Security Update. Our engineers are working on this.

Can I get you to ask your client to try the following:

After clicking the link to join your meeting.

Select the option to manually download the software and save the executable somewhere you can find it easily. Most people prefer to save the file to their desktop.

Next, right click on the icon and select “Run As…”

Finally, DESELECT the option to “Protect my computer from unauthorized program activity.”

And select OK.

You should be able to connect into the meeting.

You can also try joining the meeting through a different browser such as firefox.

Permanent fix Add registry key:

FIXED !!! Citrix support said the problem was caused by windows update kb955759 that went out wed night. I uninstalled it from Add or Remove programs, rebooted, clicked on a GoToMeeting link in an IM, filled in name & email address and it worked!

If you've previously run GoToMeeting client, you won't be prompted to download the software again, so you have to use the Registry Method (Solution #2)
