Hi, Paul some bikes can handle moisture better than others depending on age and 99% of the ones that don't start after getting wet just need a little time to dry out then they are good to go. WD40 works wonders when sprayed in critical electronic areas, ie. coils, spark plugs, safety switches etc.

My Safelink Wireless phone got wet while I was out in a recent storm and hasn't worked since. What do you suggest I do?

Not a good thing to happen, you can try taking battery and covers off and leaving the phone in a warm dry place for a few days and hope that all the internal componts will dry and that they have not been damaged. Otherwise you will have to replace the phone.

My 2001 hyundai accent is shaking and rattling alot, it also doesnt seem to be accelerating very well. it started 2 days ago when the fuel tank was down to 1/4. i filled it back up however it still does...

It can be that, also, fuel pump giving out. A timing chain could have jumped a tooth. I always start, at the most overlooked place, the air filter. A very wet spring &summer, three tropical storms reached deep into the country. If you drive in the rain, 24/7, filter can get wet, & become dirt magnet.

I have an emerson pool pump #4780, 1.0 HP, 3450 rpm. Had a very heavy rain storm and it got about an 1/2 inch of water and dirt in it. can it be salvaged? I am a little handy and have tools. a new one...

Do not run it until it is dried out.
If you can open it and remove the water & dirt, do that.
If you can find an electrical cleaner that displaces water, spray any areas that you can see to flush out debris.
Use a hair dryer to dry it out or leave it out to dry in the air.
Once it is completely dry, you should be able to start it.
The key is not to try to start it while it is wet or has debris in it.

Good luck.

Clock lcd lights are not working. how can I replace, or reset it? Maybe it got wet from rain storm?

one thing you can try before you go tearing everything apart, look through your fuse box and ensure that all of the fuses are good. sometimes they are connected to anoter circuit, and if the fuse for that blows, your lights can go with them
