100 amp CH breaker does not seat on older CH main panel because the space on the back is too small for breaker to properly seat all the way.... Where can I find breakers for a 30 year-old residential main entrance service panel?

You can Google the catalog number for that breaker. You can also try to call local electrical contractors as one can usually find at least one contractor who has saved every old part that they have removed over the years. Also try ebay.
Unfortunately, even if you do find the correct breaker it will probably be very expensive :-(

I am installing a Siemens 30 Space, 30, Circuit, 100 Amp, Main Breaker, Indoor Load Center, Copper Bus Bars and want to know what gauge of wire I should run from the meter to the 100 amp breaker

I don't mean to be flip, but if you have to ask, you really shouldn't be doing this yourself. You might need to look this up in the "code", but if you don't already know where to look it up, then you are crossing a big DIY danger line here. Good luck and be safe!

What gauge wire do I need to put a sqr d 100 amp subpanel 33 feet away? ... is # 6-3 too small?

According to my sources you need to use size #1 AWG copper wire for a 100 Amp circuit. #6 wire can only handle 55 amps.

I prefer Square D panels. They have been easier to install than others in my experience. When you say you have 2 30s that are joined you mean you have wires piggybacked together on the breaker? or a tandem 30?

How do I run from a 100 amp main panel to a 60 amp subpanel, 125 from my house to the garage

See 60 Amp sub-panel image

Above image shows drawing of 60Amp sub-panel located next to main panel. Drawing shows #6 wire... 125' distance to garage calls for #4 wire. I ran #4 to my barn and have no problems.

Give thought to how many new breakers you want at garage.
See photo of subpanel that holds three 240V breakers

Using drawing as a guide. Replace existing 240Volt breaker with new 60 Amp breaker. Two hot wires connect to new 60 Amp breaker. Neutral connects to neutral busbar.

More space: You can free up space in main breaker box using a tandem breaker. Or by doubling up 2 lightly used 120V circuits onto one breaker. Do not double-up on 240 Breakers

Conduit: You want PVC conduit large enough to fit three #4 wires. Bigger conduit is easier to pull wires ... and maybe later ethernet wire, or alarm wire etc.

Ground wire: You can put a ground rod at garage and run #6 bare copper between sub-panel neutral-busbar and ground rod. Attach ground wire firmly with grounding clamp.

I want you to check with local electrical supply for exact code in your area concerning conduit requirements, grounding, and wire size. Tighten all lugs very tight against wire.

The two breakers opposite the main do not work. What's the problem?

You haven't indicated the part number for your panel, but I'm assuming that since you say the inoperable breakers are "opposite" the main, that you have the type of panel where the main is at the top of one side of the panel. If this is the case, usually the opposite spaces have no place on the buss for breakers to attach. In that case these are not spaces for breakers. The panel legend on the door usually will indicate thes, but sometimes the cover is the same for a main lug or a main breaker panel.

Can i replace the main (100 amp) is a sq d QOC20u100F panel with a 200 amp main--i will up grade meter socket and entrance cable to 200 amps cwalker

First the part number QOC20U100F is a flush mount panel cover. The panel you have is most likely a :QO116M100. No you cannot replace the breaker as the bus in the panel is only rated for 100A. In addition I believe this is a 20CKT panel. If you're gonig to a 200A service you'd probably want more spaces than that. Home Depot and Lowes both carry 200A panels with starter set of breakers at reasonable price. The QO panels are a bit better than the Homeline
Here is a link to manual for their panels. :
