I regret to inform you that it is not caused by a faulty switch but a
bad Digital Module (DM) board. The continuous blinking indicates that
the DM board is booting up but cannot do so. The problem is common to
Mitsubishi rear projection televisions and it is dubbed as "blinking
green light of death' due to its notoriety. The usual cause of the
problem is the four capacitors on the DM board. Is it already fixed or do you want to fix it yourself?

When turned on light remains green for a few second and then turns yellow.

Does the lights blink red after turning yellow? If so, you have the infamous YLOD, aka. Yellow Light of Death. This is the number 1 cause of pS3's dying. It is an overheating issue linked to your CPU and GPU (the processor chips) You will need to find a local PS3 repair shop who can repair this. Do not try to attempt repairs seen on the internet yourself. You could make things much worse and render the unit totally unresponsive. The repair process takes about 3 hours.

IS THERE A DISC STUCK INSIDE?

If you have a unit that is not backwards compatible, any non 60g or 80g then you

can retrieve your disc.

Power off the unit using the toggle switch on the back. Hold down the 'eject'

button and turn the toggle switch back from off to on. This will run a fan test

and eject your disc. Remember, this will only work on the 20, 40g models. Not the

backwards compatible units with the 4 usb port holes and the memory card slots.

All lights blink when I turn on my turn signal

Check your indicator bulbs, it sounds like someone has swapped out a dual filament globe. When the indicator is switched on the power back feeds through the lighting circuit causing all the lights to blink

I have playstation 3 model # CECHH01, a game is inside, when i power on the light goes green, then quickly goes blue then yellow and goes back to red and powers off leaving the red light blinking. What do...

well sounds like your PS3 needs to be reflowed or reballed. I would highly recomend you have a professional do the repair. as fas as having a game stuck inside the machine you can get it out in under 10 seconds by doing this.

1) turn off power switch in back of ps3
2) place finger on eject button and hold there while ps3 is off ( no red light)
3) while holding finger on the eject button turn power switch on the back of ps3 on , hold finger on eject button untill the disk ejects.
4) turn power switch off and have unit repaired or replaced.

if unit is covered by warranty and you send it to sony you must get your disk out of the system as you will NOT get it back if you send it to sony. Most reputable repair shops will return your disk with the system or give it to you before they take the system in for repairs. I ALWAYS give the game disks back before a customer leaves my shop as it leaves me with less to keep track of.

Try to turn on my ps3,after 2or3 sec it turns off and just blinks

HI, the power unit is experiencing some difficulties due the an overheating issue. if the light is turning yellow at any time, this will confirm a overheating issue. Now, if the light is simply turning red and, powering off then system with a red blink, this will confirm a power unit failure. you will need to replace the power unit in this case.

Contact your nearest Sony repair shop of, contact Sony manufacture for this repair.

NOTE(If its a simple overheating issue, you can purchase a cooling device to heel this issue)

T.V. won't turn on

This is a classic symptom of high voltage shutdown. There is probably a bad flyback [high voltage transformer]. The problem is one for the techs. Replacement usually involves also replacing several H/V components as well. The TV tries to come on, energizing the H/V circuits, then, the protection circuit detects too much current and goes into "protective shutdown" and then tries again. After a few tries, it stops trying. The protective circuit us there to keep from blowing breaker or causing a fire.

If it's an expensive set, take it in to the shop, otherwise go shopping for a new one. This repair can run anywhere from $100 - 400.

Panasonic projection tv

Standby light blinking 3 times means a convergence error. The two convergence IC's need to be changed Panasonic part# C5AA00000203 (do not substitute with a generic STK#) This is about a $300-$400 repair.
