ASUS P5GV TMX S AUDIO DRIVERS

This board is apparently a proprietary model made by Asus for a large system manufacturer. When the system manufacturer is finished producing the systems that use the board, they dump the rest as bulk or 'white box' products. These boards, although made by Asus are not Asus mainboards. This information from a Moderator on the VIP ASUS support forum at the following link

http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?board_id=1&model=P5GV-MX&id=20080709152936328&page=1&SLanguage=en-us

Any drivers for P5GV series boards I've run across seem to be limited to the unsupported Windows XP operating system

Hi eibral2345, sorry but there is no chance the motherboard, Asus P5VD2-VM-SE will run the Samsung memory. It’s the old style 3.3V PC133/100 SDRAM. The new Asus motherboard,
P5VD2-VM-SE uses Single-Channel DDR2 - 667MNz or 533MHz memory. Here is a link to the specs of the Asus CUV4X: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=314&page=3
Here are the specs for the Asus P5VD2-VM-SE MB: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1787&l1=3&l2=11&l3=369&l4=0

Will the new Asus board fit in your case? It should!
The larger measurement is the height of the board.
The Height + Width of the new board is smaller than the older board.

Have more questions?
Good luck eibral2345!

Hi austenitic, there does not appear to be a Asus P5G-TVM/S board. Please look directly on the Asus board & you will find (In White lettering) the correct model number.

To look for the Asus board you're self click on the link below.
In the top right hand corner is a Search window. Type in you're model number & click the -----> (Arrow button).
Or post the correct Asus model.

If I can be of more service, just post back & let me know how thing go.

OK WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION? ASUS IS A VERY GOOD COMPANY. MY GUESS IS TELL THEM THAT THIS IS YOUR SECOND TIME SENDING THIS BOARD BACK AND THIS TIME YOU WOULD LIKE A NEW BOARD OF THE SAME KIND. BEFORE YOU SEND THE BOARD OFF TO ASUS MAKE THE BOARD IN A INCONSPICUOUS AREA ONLY YOU WOULD KNOW. THEN SEE IF THEY GIVE YOU BACK THE SAME BOARD OR A NEW ONE.
