Question about Televison & Video
Original remote gone and am doing my head in slowly. I can find the channels but cannot memorise them. Any clues most appreciated.
On the front of the tv I have #4 Top Buttons and underneath, 2 sets of Up/Down Arrows.
To Tune the Channel I Hold Down the Pict Button and eventually get the Pal 1 choice and Channel options. Having found a channel I repeatedly press the Pict. Button down to the Programme No. Using the UP/DOWN Arrows I chose the relevant Programme Number and after that I am at a loss as to what button to press to memorise.
Thanks & Regards

It sounds as though the TVs in a demo mode. Has someone recently been over and was playing with the remote. If so go into the menu of the tV set and look for set up and demo mode. Turn off the demo mode. if this doesent help call i-866-427-3946 and talk to the customer service deptartment. Good Luck

Do in your menu have like VCR or DVD in the option area? If so then put on vcr or dvd. Also you can look for the channel in the add or erase area and move past the channel 2 by going the other way and see if the aux or video1 comes on then simply chose it.

You are right about the auto-programming, but Magnavox no longer has the original remote.
For my answer to be right, you must have posted this question to the EXACT CORRECT model # of your Magnavox TV - 27ms343s:
Press TV on your Verizon remote, and then press "0" and "3"
If that fails:
Press MENU to see the TV’s on-screen
menu. In the menu, use VOL.+/_ and
CH.+/_ to make adjustments or selections.
You can press MENU on either the
remote control or the front of the TV to
access or remove the menu.
