Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

The sound in my psp is gone

The sound is completely gone in my psp even when i put the headphones in it doesnt work if i pull them out a small bit the sound works but it skips and the headphones dont stay in . and i cant really bring it back to the store i bought it in cause thats in america

    Hi techi guys out there, please help us, my psp is having a distorted sound, having weak signals coming from the sound port.and its output sound have a unbalanced distribution of sound signals. i've check it with many earphones and sound system and the result is still the same.

    what can be the problem with that and can we fix that problem on our own.Kindly help us.thanks. -Noel.

    My PSPs sound will not work enless i put headphones in and pull them out a little bit but they will not stay in if i do that and no sound comes out of the speackers unless i put the headphones in and pull them out a certain amount.

The only thing you could posibly do is battery operated amplified far as distortion......sound chip maybe wearing out

Sound comes only in one earphone..

your headphones probably blew in the one ear. Try another pair of headphones.the same thing happened to me. if that doesnt work the recepters in the ear jack youll have to have a professional to fix it

Psp sound problem

My son had the same problem. I put tape around the top part of the headphone jack and plugged it in. Worked great!!! Don't know how long it'll hold up, but it's a quick fix for now.....

The Sound won't work on PSP

sounds like the inter femal jack and yes it can be repaird by your self which would be cheaper than any shop

My psp sound has gone

The jack where the ear piece enters gets partial contact try and get standard ear piece cause you cud damage the sound unit if you keep feeding it partial current
