I cannot get pci driver when installing p4pe
If device manager in XP does not recognize the card in the PCI slot, you could load the software that came with that specific device. If it is a LAN card, then load the device specific software that came with the PCI LAN card.
The LAN software from ASUS is only for the "on-board" LAN supplied with the motherboard. As a fallback, take out your PCI LAN card and use the "on-board" LAN.
Should be on your install disk that you got with your board

After installataion of windows XP, Device Manager is asking to install Audio Device and PCI device.
PCI Device seems to be required for LAN purpose.
I have tried to install from the LAN driver provided by ASUS ( 3 option available ), but still without success. Audio driver is ok. What correct steps do I have to take ?

ASUS lists BIOS files for its boards plus other types of files as needed (ie. Audio, LAN, RAID etc.) plus various utilities and a product manual. If you have the correct software for your model and OS, you should not need any special driver for the PCI expansion slots. What make you think you need one?
