I Just got a ATI radeon 9200 256mb agp video card.. Works good with everything in my computer.. I played Simcity 4 with no problem and Battlefield 1942.. But when i start up Battlefied 2 its freezes and then and error message comes up that ati2dvag has stop working normal/Display Driver stoped working.... Computer memory is welll over the game specs, and and the game specs from what the box says....Any anwsers

Hello gran_capricc, you must remove Ati old video driver from your computer, before installing latest driver, go to Start> Control Panel > Uninstall a program > ATI Video Driver Remove, Restart Computer, i found latest driver for your Ati radeon 9550 agp video card fully compatible with Windows Vista, Xp. Click save driver to your computer, install the driver, don't forget to restart the computer. Here is the link.

The maximum card you can connect to the system any PCI video card not more than 128 MB. As the motherboard and the power supply would not support it

Gameplay
Battlefield Vietnam has the same point by point objectives of Battlefield 1942; there are two teams on either end of a map, each team has a set of "tickets" that they start out with. The teams can deplete the enemy tickets by killing opposing players and/or capturing flags ("control points") on the battlefield. If a player is killed, he can re-spawn on one of the flags that his team owns. Between respawns, players are able to change their character class, effectively switching equipment kits.

I had a very similar problem. I fixed it by updating to the latest drivers for my video card. You will find the latest video drivers for your card here.

yes, before you buy video card

verify first the interface slot available on *********** board (AGP,PCI or PCI Express)

then select the video card with the same interface in *********** board

verify the video cards driver if compatible to your operating system

before installing the video card update your BIOS to latest version

most of them typ are pci-e express

To get your drivers follow these simply steps below:

First go to this website "CLICK HERE" - once you've done that fill in all the details of your "Graphics Card" then download them.

After you've completed the installation restart your computer just to make everything work correctly.


Note: after you've installed the driver your resolution when you've restarted your computer will be diffrenrent and may need changing.
